A look at the other side of the stone reveals a series of drilled, or gouched holes.....that I think is a representation of The Pleiades constellation.

Why?  Well, let's examine some pieces of this puzzle:

  • The stone is modified to the shape of a bison. 
  • Orion
  • Comet
  • Pleiades
  • The bison gives orientation
  • Let's call the bison a Bull
  • Bull = the constellation Taurus
  • Orion, Taurus, and Pleiades are all adjacent in the sky
  • Pleiades, in the sky appears to be situated on the Back of Taurus
  • The Pleiades representation here is located...on the bull's back
